What's New at Scispot: Exciting Updates You Should Know About [2024]

At Scispot, we are always looking to improve our platform based on the feedback we receive from our users. This June, we’ve rolled out some exciting new features that enhance compliance, automation, data migration, and integration.

Here’s a look at what’s new:

Convert Files into Interactive Experiments

Migrating flat files like PDFs, .docx, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and .xlsx into Scispot has never been easier. With Scispot AI, you can transform these files into ready-to-use protocols, inventory managers, sample managers, and results tables. Imagine seamlessly integrating your experimental protocols from Google Docs directly into Scispot apps.

Search Contextually with Natural Language Prompts

Our AI-assisted search feature allows you to find information using natural language prompts. For instance, if you’re looking for "experiments where CRISPR was used to edit the BRCA1 gene," just type it in, and Scispot will instantly locate all relevant records. This feature goes beyond simple keyword matching, offering intelligent, context-aware searches tailored to scientific queries.

Extract Insights from Your Data in Real-Time with AI Assistance

Scibot is now capable of generating growth curves, dose-response analyses, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling, high-content screening analysis, and multi-parameter flow cytometry data analysis. It offers advanced plotting capabilities like heat maps and 3D molecular structures to help you visualize and interpret complex data. For example, Scibot can instantly analyze your data and produce detailed visualizations for a new drug candidate’s dose-response curve.

Bring Your GraphPad Analytics into Scispot

You can now automatically extract data and graphs from GraphPad Prism projects and embed them into your Scispot experiment pages. This integration ensures all your data and visualizations are accessible in one place. For example, you can directly link GraphPad-generated survival curves or bar graphs to specific experiments in Scispot.

Connect Scispot with 6,000+ Apps via Zapier

We’ve made it possible to connect Scispot with over 6,000 popular apps via Zapier. This feature allows you to automate tasks and save time without needing to code. Find Scispot on Zapier and streamline your workflows effortlessly.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
