So we built Biotech Store™, an e-commerce add-on for Scispot’s Labsheets, allowing companies to turn their inventory or catalog into a secure online store. 

Revenue is an important part of growing any company and is often a measure of success, especially for biotech startups. However, biotech companies don’t always have the resources and expertise needed to set up a secure e-commerce platform and more importantly, to integrate that platform with R&D and operations.

Biotech Store is a secure, customizable e-commerce platform that connects Scispot’s Labsheets with a suite of 3rd party apps, including Shopify and Woocommerce. Biotech Store allows companies to set up and manage an online store directly from their Scispot account.

Now biotech companies can use Scispot’s Labsheets and Biotech Store to integrate all aspects of R&D, production, inventory management, and sales. For example, Scispot will update inventory levels in real time based on production and sales. When a company produces a product at the bench using a protocol template, Scispot will automatically update their inventory levels. Similarly, inventory levels are automatically updated when a customer places an order and when that order is shipped. This real-time, automated inventory management means companies always have up-to-date information on inventory levels so they can track progress and milestones, and forecast production needs.
